Enduro MAX BOSL - Solid-Lube, MAX-Design, Black-Oxide, ABEC-3, Radial Suspension Bearing
Enduro Bearings pioneered MAX type bearings almost 20 years ago for bicycles to address the challenges associated with mountain bike pivots. These bearings have 35-40% more load capacity than standard radial bearings. We accomplish this with a special design where the maximum number of balls are inserted into the bearing. The race grooves are deeper on these bearings for more lateral support for the twisting and multiple forces associated with mountain bike pivots.
Solid-Lube bearings feature a unique solid, lubricant-infused polymer that replaces the grease inside of the bearing, eliminating any space for water or dirt to gather inside of the bearing. This MAX-type, Black-Oxide, ABEC-3 bearing features 52100 High-Carbon Chromium alloy races paired with grade 10 Balls and This MAX-type, ABEC-3 bearing features 52100 High-Carbon Chromium alloy races paired with grade 10 Balls and full-contact, dual-lip labyrinth (LLU) seals to keep the the elements out and lube where it belongs. Enduro engineers all of our radial bearings with deeper grooves to accommodate the largest balls possible, providing maximum bearing contact area and greatly increased bearing life. Black-Oxide/Magnetite coating provides an extra level of corrosion resistance and extended worry free performance.
Enduro Solid-Lube bearings carry a two year warranty against corrosion.
The Enduro line of bearings are available in High-Carbon Chromium Steel, 440C Stainless Steel, Ceramic-Hybrid and XD-15 with Ceramic or Stainless Balls. Our bearings are always engineered with deep groove races to accommodate the largest balls possible. All of our standard bearings feature dual-lip seals that ride in a micro groove creating a full labyrinth to provide ultimate protection against the elements.
